Shopmamie.com celebrated its first Christmas, and we must say, it has been a wonderful 2008! When Megan and I started this company, we had a vision and we have made that dream come true.
The recovery from the holiday parties and yummy food is now over, so it’s time to get kicking on those New Years resolutions!

For all you facebook fans out there, we have the newest way to keep up with friends, colleagues, and family. It’s a site called Twitter.com and we here at Shopmamie are so excited about it! Twitter texts messages your cell phone and you respond with what you are up to. Twitter then posts your comments on your personal Twitter page for all your friends to see what’s going on in your life. Or, you can also just log in online and post how you are feeling, what you are doing at the moment, or anything your little heart desires. Call it the ultimate invasion of privacy, or just knowing what’s going on in everyone’s day to day life, whatever it may be we are hooked!

So many great websites and blogs have featured the wonderful Shopmamie.com (were not biased or anything!) and its one-of-a-kind shopping experience. Therefore, we feel as if its our duty to spread the news about other great websites as well!
Since affordability is our middle name…our new obsession is Rue LaLa, an exclusive, invitation-only online destination where Members discover premier-brand, private sale Boutiques, each open for just a brief window of time. They have designer merchandise such as David Yurman, Juicy, Kate Spade(…the list goes on and on) at incredible sale prices. We wouldn’t lie to you about low prices. I have to say the Mamie girls were OVERLY impressed by the amazing production of our alma mater, Archmere Academy’s fashion show. It was not a “walk as fast down the runway as you can” kind of show that it used to be when we were seniors in ‘02. This was a one of kind choreographed production where all the models/Archmere seniors displayed their dance moves on stage. Our amazing shopmamie.com models (Caitlin, Emma, Logan, Hannah, Maddie, Kate) looked so beautiful onstage! My 2 cousins Emma Healy and Logan Healy made me so proud and looked so HOT in their Shopmamie outfits.
For those of you who have been to our home office for shopping, shows, ect…you will be shopping there no more! We have moved a couple blocks away to 1308 Delaware Avenue Wilmington, DE. A great historical old mansion with a great space for Shopmamie.com headquarters. This will be the future home of all of our operations!
